Nic deserves a lot of respect. He may not have had many results, but he avoided many incidents and usually could keep pace with other backmarkers. He drive to 6th in Donington last year deserves a lot of praise. It may have been down to making the right tyre choice, while others didn't, but he didn't throw away his big chance when he was offered it. I hope he does well whatever he does next

anyone remember the other Hamilton before him in BTCC ? wonder what happened to him

He went on to race in Britcar for a bit, and did some occasional Historic FF stuff but seems to be plenty busy with him and his dad's plumbing business. Oh, and he runs a lot.
