[LM24] What Did You Get? (General Ticketing Chat)

I managed to get 2x Houx Rank 29, places 7 + 14, and Nobster got places 2 + 19.
Is there anybody here who got 1 + 20, 3 + 18, 6 + 15, or 8 + 13 and wants to swap places so we can have 4 adjacent places?

Houx was all gone at 10:05 this morning. I expected BSJ but plumped for Epinettes. Not entirely sure why I'm paying to be an ACO member.

epinettes was surprisingly fun when we were there in 2023

Complete shambles for me. Got in early, and it let me in and showed me ONLY full week +T17/T18 but said nothing available. Then booted me out for an hour (although that did reduce in the end to about 40 minutes). When I got in it showed nothing available in T17 and showed me about 10 seats scattered around T18. As I tried to select things, juggling two accounts on two browsers, everything I tried disappeared. In the end I just bought what was in the carts and ended up bizarrely with two seats together in T17, two seats together in T18 and a single ‘orphan’ seat elsewhere in T18. So despite the two per member rule, I accidentally bought 4 seats on my account. So one of our three will have to sit apart from the other two at the start and finish. We’ll have to make a decision about which two to sell back/on, probably the two in T17. But the experience just gets worse, year on year, simply because the ACO seem to find it impossible to operate their own rules and procedures properly.

I tried to get tickets for Oasis and failed. However I did manage to get Coldplay tickets after a very stressful morning.

Update! Somehow lady fortuna has been very generous today, so this is the state of affairs at the moment:

I managed to get 2x Houx Rank 29, places 7 + 14, a friend of mine got 6 + 15 and another friend of mine got places 2 + 19.
Is there anybody here who got 5 + 16 + 15, or 8 + 13 and wants to swap places so we can have 6 adjacent places?

It's a lot less stressful not buying grandstand or camping tickets... Not a helpful comment, I realise.

The main thing for me was making sure I got Expo and Mulsanne/Arnage parking.

I am definitely wondering if what I pay for membership and access to the members area could be better used buying through an agent.

Will be interesting to see what the agents have got as seems that even though houx is now much smaller that it used to be plenty of people got spaces on there. If all those that got Tertre Rouge and Maison Blanche through agents want Houx for next year then the agents will be hard pushed to increase there allocation of houx spaces

Especially as it seems as though the ACO was giving out the Houx spaces long before ticketing was supposed to open…..

I think the price hike in agent hands could be eye-watering at the moment too. You can't really win.


Ticket release coincided with a very busy and hectic workday but managed to get what I set out to. Didn't even try to get any camping sites with Houx in the name. Happy to be back on Hippodrome if it remains the same as it was this year.

Managed to get to the checkout first time out, only for my Virgin Money app to s-t the bed and stop working and not verify the payment. An hour later I was able to re-order and secure the exact same order essentially - so got lucky in that sense.

Where was I was I got my order through and tickets confirmed? The first team dressing room of Manchester United. But that's a long story for another day.

Sounds like even if people didn't quite get what they wanted - they'll still be going to Le Mans!

It shouldn't be that difficult. They say they open at 10.00. In my mind that means that nobody can get in or get in line before 10.00. Simple as that. I got in the waiting line at 9.35 waiting 50 minutes. How early was it possible to get in line? And I was too late to get any T17.

I got in line at 8am GMT and was given 59 mins. Didn't actually get in until 9:10 when I couldn't find T17 or 18 and Houx was hone.
