Ruddy hello what a shambles, was promised Houx camping by the ACO last month and had the email on tuesday headed up HOUX tickets but yesterday could not find the actual tickets in my account to pay for them, anyway bought race tickets as knew i had suitable camping. Sent email to aco to enquire how to see the camping tickets got reply today and also found tickets in my account, and they are for Houx annex not Houx, to far to walk for Kevin, they have not charged me for them (never had free tickets before). Have sent another email to ACO

Depending on where you are located on the site of H or HA the walk is less. The end og H is relatively close to the spacetower, half way H you need to cross over the track through a bridge. From HA if they open all gates you have the same issues with tunnel and stairs. Both are a long intense walk, without mobile help I think the sites are not suitable for invalide.
Just my opinion. |

So, as mentioned earlier, we have ended up with two tickets together in T17, plus two tickets together in T18 plus another single ticket in T18. These will all be hard copy tickets combined of course with full week general entry tickets. So we have choices to make (most of them fairly unpalatable) about where we will watch the start and finish from (in the knowledge that as soon as the seats start to thin out, we can sit where we like while the normal occupants are missing). The alternative is now to spend the next several weeks and months trying to find some better tickets. I'll probably start with an email to the ACO to see if they can do anything to help a member of 27 years who has been completely shafted.... Otherwise the initial plan of action would be to try and find another T17 ticket near to the two I have - or three T18 tickets together. So that's my starter for ten, if anyone has anything that might fit the bill that they'd be happy to sell or swap.

Frankly I doubt I'll use my Siko ticket apart from the start, but because it's bound into the GE I'm stuck with it. All I could select was a "tier 1" tribune and they just allocated it to me. Couldn't even select Dunlop or anywhere else.
I do have the club area pass so can at least use those. If we are the norm then I suspect the resale area will be quite busy when it opens. |
