At the only scan I've had they asked me what radio station I listened to so I had radio 2 also .... but by choice. The only other stations I could think of 'off the cuff' were radio 4 (I thought I may not be able to concentrate on the chat) or radio 1 (which was an absolute no no).

This is most peculiar, as I've had a number of MRI scans done in 3 different hospitals, 2 NHS and 1 at a private hospital via the NHS, and apart from being given ear protectors against the noise, I've never been offered any music.
In fact, the last scan was done on a brand new scanner that was in a truck, and which was on loan or trial from the manufacturer. Unfortunately the scanner was barely being used except for dire emergencies as this was in April 2020 at the peak of the first Covid wave, and the hospital had stopped all elective and non-urgent scans. |

Perhaps it's a new thing, Mike. Mine was only a couple of years ago.

Now you need to work out how to add your medical checks (assuming you are renewing your international license). - it’s in your profile section/medical documentation part.
Once that’s done and reviewed by someone to confirm validity you should be able to submit your license renewal… I think! |

Nowadays it seems more like a form of torture, especially when they have "stand-in" presenters who should be on a different channel. Unfortunately when we are out and about in the car Management insists on Radio 2, though she does not much care for it either. I'm not sure why. I think it's for the traffic reports and they never, ever seem to be relevant to where we are. The car's satnav or just viewing the map on screen would be a better option. |

You are right there . Try GREATEST HITS radio , it is a lot more listenable to . Trouble is it does seem to have different frequencies in different areas , so might take a bit of finding .

GH Radio on DAB Plus also changes regions so occaisionally it overlaps as you cross an area.
