Gene Cook
Gene Cook, circuit racing, speedway and NASCAR driver passed away on Friday.
Not many people can say they raced at Longford, Bathurst, Liverpool Speedway, Calder Thunderdome and many speedways allover Australia. A brilliant driver, race car builder, engineer and innovator. Fond memories of the black 13 Torana on the asphalt at Latrobe with the left front wheel off the ground. The epic battles with the USA Sedan team at Latrobe. The TAA sponsored Chevy Monza, Camaro and the very quick Commodore. |
