It looks like a total clear out then; https://www.motorsport.com/f1/news/s...e-up/10671009/
I wonder how two novices will fare. |

Good.
It's nice to have new drivers on the grid and sad when leading F2 drivers don't get a chance. Hulkenberg will be a good yardstick alongside him. Shame for Bottas of course. Mercedes are rumoured to be offering him a reserve driver role in place of Mick Schumacher, so if that happens we should expect to see plenty of moaning in the press from uncle Ralph. Zhou has not been good enough. I know the car has been pretty poor this term, but even so. |

Who would have thought that Carlos Sainz Jnr's appendix would cause a ripple effect that ended Bottas' F1 career

whats the evaluation/opinion on Bottas' current skill level?
if a buyout is possible, Colapinto looks to be in the RB frame but i wonder if Bottas could or should also be in that frame? |

I have been reading that Qatar have basically decided to fund this team? Audi will still build it and badge it, but the car is basically a Qatar ifunded operation, is this true or was this click bait, have seen it in a couple of places

It seems to have been claimed by one source, and repeated on a few other outlets. |

Joe Saward states that this would be "logical". Also believes that it is possible that CYVN Holdings of Abu Dhabi is looking to take a further non-controlling position of McLaren Automotive which may or may not have some bearing on the racing team. |

So I am presuming this is a way to allow Audi to get someone else to contribute to funding the operation? Like a sponsor or something?
Is this then not a manufacturer entry? more like a Team RB? |

It will probably all end in tears, one way or another, or lurch from one catastrophe to another. I don't think the Audi effort will ever amount to anything, and I wonder how much damage it will do to his career. If he has the potential of an Emerson Fittipaldi, his career will probably never match Emersons. That may seem really negative about Bortoleto, but it's not about him. Its more to do with the Audi approach and where it will end up. |

So.. Sauber can/may presumably remain a Ferrari supplied team and continue on their merry way.. |

Valtteri has done a very Valtteri thing with the video he's put out on social media regarding his departure from his current team.
You can find it in a variety of places. Watch it to the end! |
