Good.

It's nice to have new drivers on the grid and sad when leading F2 drivers don't get a chance. Hulkenberg will be a good yardstick alongside him.

Shame for Bottas of course. Mercedes are rumoured to be offering him a reserve driver role in place of Mick Schumacher, so if that happens we should expect to see plenty of moaning in the press from uncle Ralph.

Zhou has not been good enough. I know the car has been pretty poor this term, but even so.

if a buyout is possible, Colapinto looks to be in the RB frame but i wonder if Bottas could or should also be in that frame?

I have been reading that Qatar have basically decided to fund this team? Audi will still build it and badge it, but the car is basically a Qatar ifunded operation, is this true or was this click bait, have seen it in a couple of places

If it is true - it will be announced at the Qatar GP.

It seems to have been claimed by one source, and repeated on a few other outlets.

Joe Saward states that this would be "logical". Also believes that it is possible that CYVN Holdings of Abu Dhabi is looking to take a further non-controlling position of McLaren Automotive which may or may not have some bearing on the racing team.

Once we have teams that are becoming billion-dollar businesses in high end sport the teams will become the playground of rich corporations, and groups of wealthy individuals looking for quick money or leveraged investments, but the owners are basically soulless and without a heart for the sport.

It will probably all end in tears, one way or another, or lurch from one catastrophe to another.

I don't think the Audi effort will ever amount to anything, and I wonder how much damage it will do to his career.
If he has the potential of an Emerson Fittipaldi, his career will probably never match Emersons.
That may seem really negative about Bortoleto, but it's not about him.
Its more to do with the Audi approach and where it will end up.

There are an LOT of Qatar Airlines sponsor hoardings on F1 circuits across the world… it’s not a huge leap to see that branding land onboard a ‘friendly’ race car…

So.. Sauber can/may presumably remain a Ferrari supplied team and continue on their merry way..
