Anyone ever been to the Bahrain WEC race in person? If you can get there (which is the trick) it appears that it is a laid back atmosphere where you can really just spend the time to take it the ambience that is hypercars and GT cars.

Fuel pump issue, it happened in a previous race too. Hopefully it's something that they look at over the winter.

The tv director, oh dear the tv director.
In other top level motorsport, the guys in the truck seem capable of realising that now MIGHT NOT be the best moment to cut to a pointless replay or a moody *I want to be a real tv director) shot. The WEC guys are utterly unaware that this is possible it seems. I doubt we will, but in the expanding WEC world I hope we can get some directors that use common sense and know how to read a race. It seems to me that they go into it with a "this is endurance, nothing that happens in the first 7 hours matters, we can do what we want. |

Haha I get your point.
It is frustrating, but I think we just have to get used to it sadly, as this seems to be the way modern tv companies want to throw sport at viewers. I can only imagine how many times Haven and co bite their tongue, Martin used to constantly not bite it during WTCC feeds and I am amazed he kept his job, but it was very funny for fans like me!! |
