I had a bit of trouble renewing my membership this year, ended up I did not book the members area at the time. I was not convinced it is good value, decided today to have one more try at it this year. When I went to book it is not available, so that has sold out as well.

Well James will be able to use all the stuff in the ACO building (stands t17 and t18) as he has a seat but not the bit over at dunlop. But to be honest not much there and i have usually managed to get in there, always seem to get an invite to one of the meet the ACO events.

As I said previously, I will be using the La Chappelle lounge area since I haven't got T17 or 18 seats. My Siko seat will be used for the first couple of hours but after that I'll be around the circuit. That said it'll be Arnage and Indianapolis on the Thursday with TR etc on the Wednesday.

As much as I enjoyed last year´s race, as it was fantastic, the event itself was really dissapointing. Far, far, too crowded, and nothing to do but expend money on official shops. Next year is LM Classic for me, as the atmosphere´s pretty what I remember from the old Le Mans days in the early 2000´s. And you can see the cars up close. Come over!! |

Well been going to the classic now since it started with just a couple of gaps and a bit like the main event the experience has been getting worse especially for campers as the campsites are moved further away. Last year they put us in eppinettes and it was a long walk to anything, also the areas supposedly devoted to classic car makes were mostly dominated by modern cars (the manufactures showing current models) yes the paddocks are still brilliant and some of the car club stands are still filled with old stuff, but far to many supercars and much less old buggys than previous years. Also the cars allowed to race in each class used to have oddities that competed maybe unsuccessfully but it gave the grids variety
