Hmmmmm, if I remember correctly, it was the Rainblow Warrior that hit everything but the Virginia Lottery last Sunday at Martinsville. Robbie should have told him to go hit the pace car & when he asked what for, Robbie could have told him, "Because you hit every other damn thing out there, I want you to be perfect." LMAO.

1998 IROC, Mark Martin was the man !!!
2 wins, 1 second, 1 third and the IROC Championship !!! I forgot the rain shortened race, I’ve always hated those. I’ll have to adjust the count : 6 years, 4 races a year, 1 rain credit ..... That’s 24 races divided into 1, that equals 4 % !!! Not too good for equal cars !!! Can everyone now see that certain cars have had an advantage ??? The car is the most critical factor !!! The best driver (whoever that is) can not win in a bad car. But almost any driver can win in a great car. |

Hey, it's time to think about this again. I wonder what kind of TV coverage it's going to get?

The boys did pretty well for themselves, winning the Nations Cup (with the help of Colin Edwards)! CONGRATULATIONS!

On oval racing you're at the mercy of your car and setup just as much as Openwheel cars are on road courses.

Having returned from the RoC, Jimmy and Jeff acquitted themselves very well amongst the stars of rally etc.,
Jimmy was pretty much smooth all weekend; Jeff more spectacular with some near offs and trips up the banking but hey, it kept us spectators entertained. Jeff was also a passenger when World Rally Champ Marcus Gronholm managed to roll a Peugeot rally car 3-4 times in Friday practice (and from the in-car footage JG seemed to love every minute of it). Look out for it if you get the chance on TV. |
