Well I went out to Sandown this morning and everything was shaping up beautifully. It was a 75dB day so I had to fit an "around the garden path" muffler to get us under sound for the day. It worked a treat up until lap 8 when a radiator hose blew off and dumped all my coolant. At the same time the car in front dumped oil, so I didn't notice the coolant on my windscreen, only oil. Another lap goes by, car smells like it is on fire, pull in. Car dies, engine goes in the bin because water is pouring out from between the rotar housing and the endplates. Yep that is how warped it got. Lucky it was only the standard 13B and not the bridgeport. Well an expensive little exercise but not a total loss, hey.
