SJ Spode should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
A prediction contest with a difference

Here's a challenge. Try and predict which of this season's rallies will be run without at least one stage falling foul to spectator conjestion / spectators in unsafe locations.

Or alternatively, which rallies will have one or more stages cancelled. The Monte is a freebie for a start.

I'm going to say not a single one will go without a stage being cancelled.

The sheep will find some way to get a stage cancelled if no one else does.

Australia won't have a stage cancelled either. But all the others will either have one cancelled or the drivers will come close to pranging some bystanders.

I'd say one of the tarmac rallies will have the most cancellations.

The Acropolis won't have any cancelled, as will NZ and Australia.

Maybe Australia will have a stage cancelled....is Francois Delecour coming out this year?

I think only NZ won't have a stage cancelled.

I will revise my reply about NZ. There will be a stage stopped due to to a demonstration by ovine agitators who are complaining about their rights being abused.

Did you read last weeks Motorspoet News, where someone proposed to actually cancel stages(whether there was a problem or not) just to prove the point to the fans, that if you do not stand in safe areas and continue to be problematic we will stop stages.

A bit harsh but if its a cure to the problem?

But did you see the picture of the Corolla, which looked like it was driving through a caravan and camping show - surely this is not safe.

imull has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
they said that about the Net Q. Admittedly teh did stop one stage when a marshal got slapped but apart from that some of the places people stood were daft but everyone did as I asked (I marshalled all 4 days)

There was a stage cancelled in Sweden, so that's one prediction down the drain.
