"Hey Skaifey, is that the new VY Commodore?".

About time Holden did another ad with their leading driver. What's next, Toddler jumping his KTM over ten VYs?

I as an avid Skaife Hater and Ford Fan LOVE the nes ads, because MS is at his best when he doesnt say anything.

Actually, I reckon that might make a good ad. Maybe for KTM and not Holden, but it'd be a good ad all the same

I must say, though, the new Holden ads with Skaifey in are still better than last year's Ford ads with Lowndes and Ambrose in them. They were dead-set shockers.

That's the whole point of the ad that Mark Skaife can't get a word in because the kids and the dad's are all asking questions at the same time because they are excited about the new Commodore. Remember it is an ad.

I place the new SS ads in the same bin as those awful Lowndes/Ambrose ads.

BA/VY both have good base ads and Holden have screwed it with this SS, hopefully Ford don't do the same again.

Funny you should mention Cam McConville was just thinking I would love to see him in a competitive car. Would beat Skaife in a red rocket in my opinion.

I don't think the new adds are too bad really. I mean hey, we are all talking about them and know what they are promoting, so they have worked, like them or not!

In a cringing way yes, same goes for those gay Ford truck ads last year.

Just proves **** ads work, better to be talking about how good an ad is though, the BA ute ad is clever and memorable as is the VY ute ad - both having a jibe at the new advertising.

I thought the ss ads were good particularly the one with the kid day dreaming about being better than m.s.

Does anyone know if the boy in that ad is really Skaifes son Mitch or not???????????????

Big Lansvale Racing fan since 1980's and Cam is very underated. When LRT get there car sorted it just might be up the front.

The new Holden ad didn't have the zoom zoom appeal.

May god help the poor souls working at the Mazda stand at the motorshow- they had to put up with the Zoom Zoom Zoom on a continuous loop, 12 hours a day...

No, Jan sales the Falcon was about 1000 behind the Commodore.

In WA, the Commodore outsold the Falcon by 1 car. Should be getting the Feb sales in the next few days.

Note though that this is Falc vs Comm, which includes VX/AU's and from what I have heard thru industry contacts, there was a fair few VX's in stock , the AU wasn't being built in big numbers so apparently didn't have anywhere near the same number sitting on shelves as the VX.
