Fantasy Garage!
Come on then you lot, lets play fantasy garage. Forget the money, what car would you have in your garage and why!
I`ll start the engine running, I would have a Caterham superlight R500..I`ve been driven round a track or two in one with a quick driver and it just blows your mind...it also hwps with any movement problems you may have!. Whats your choice? |

A 57' Chevy Bel Air for road use (most gorgeous car of the 50's IMO)
Family car - hmm, nothing that really appeals to me, maybe one of those wierd Fiat people carriers. Track days? Gotta be a TVR, either a Cerbera or a Tuscan R And for a full blown race car - I have a thing about the Panoz LMP-1. Totally impractical but I love that engine note..... |

For me, it would have to be an AC Cobra, with a big lump V8, side exhausts and all the noise and smoke you can imagine.
Regrettably, imagine is all I will ever be able to do ..................... but it's fun doing so! Steve T |

For my fun car I'd have a mint 1972 Mk11 Midget like this one please:
Midget contenders for my race car would be either a Mk1 Midget, a Mk1 Cortina or an Anglia.... in my dreams I shall drive a ex Le Mans MG-Lola or a Sunbeam Tiger Le Mans....well it is a dream... |

Driving past a local car dealer today, they had for sale in there a Chevrolet Camaro Z28 (1969), and one of the early 80s Pontiac Trasam's (Like off Nightrider). I have to get one of those two.......pity about my bank balance.

Hard to say gfm as the only one of the above I have driven is the transit!
I have had three Mk1 Escorts and still have a Mexico which is so much fun but not very fast. I have driven a few Imprezas and they are fun in a different way. The 6R4s just keep passing me on the stages and they sound so good. Aaaaaahhh |
