Formula ford pictures
Does any one have any pictures from the 1990 national formula ford champioship? in particular any of the works Van Diemen cars?

Was Marc Goossens one of the works drivers in '90?

Goossens raced in 91 when it was the Motorcraft championship, it had a big improvement in numbers of cars competing in 91 after a very poor series in 90. It was Vergers who drove the works car in 90.Other notable drivers from 91 were Russell Ingall, Neil Cunningham, Dino Morrelli, Andrew McCauley and yours truly!

Take it then that was when Ingall won the Festival?

Of course yes, 1990 had very low entries and Gareth Rees drove the works FCS Reynard as Vergers' main opposition.

As a kind of semi-relevant point here...
The 1990 works Van Diemen driven by Niko Palhares in the FF Festival (he`d have won it if it hadn`t have conked out) is the "Trevor Stiles Racing"-run car raced mainly at Brands by David Jermy - and previously by David Hardisty and John Hayden. |

Oh, and Ingall won (walked) the Festival in it`s first Zetec year of `93. `90 was won by Dave Coyne - OK a blinding drive from the back of the grid in his semi (I might be wrong there?), but nevertheless he only won `cos Palhares was sidelined.
