RS tested on the new FW23, and JPM tested on the FW22B fitted with a 2001 BMW V10 engine.

Testing times don't normally mean much (ie like the ones above), but they do when they are a 1.18.973, as Jean Alesi set today! A new bloody record!

While I don't think this signifies that Prost will be winning the championship this year, it does show that all of the FIA's rules and regulations have done absolutely nothing to slow the cars down. Despite the new rules, and the drivers complaining about the poor handling of the cars, they are still faster than ever!

Let's hope Alesi's good testing result is a sign of things to come.
