allan quirk should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
The latest news on Carl Fogarty, who fell at 140mph at Philip Island, Australia, breaking his arm in three places, is that he says he will NOT retire. He expects to return to the championship at either Hockenheim or Misano. This is good news for fans, but the bad news is that he stands no chance of defending his World Championship. Ducati have promised him a more competitive mount for next year if he decides to race. My bet is that he will because he doesn't want to go out on such a low note.

Foggy ticked me off several years ago when he slammed Daytona and the American riders. But I have to admit I admire him. He is one tuff ol' bird. I do not see him going out on a low note. He will come back and kick some more butt!
