Pete Briars
anyone remember a Pete Briars, raced a Capri & an Escort. Went to S Africa in the 70s???

I did modified saloons in the eighties, he had a capri which he usedto take the windows out of and do super rods on the ovals as well he sold the car to a friend of mine Blake Edwards, he raced a escort in 1989, my memory seems to recall he came Walsall. I also think he was friendly with Brian Ashley of exhaust fame.
