Another VLR Modification
This time after Snetterton we were talking about writing on Dan Eaves car, this time, heres something else new on the VLR cars which I dont think has done before? Look at the grill under the "tocatour numberplate", on these pictures taken by Redshoes.

I didn't notice that trackside, but I did when I got home and looked at my pictures - it looks quite good and is a bit different.......

Also.. the spaces in the struts below the rear wing spell out VLR, theres no photo of it that i can find though but the guy on the PA at Brands mentioned it quite a few times.

btcc-thunder...I was given a photo from Brands of the car where you can see the words (letters) V L R down the rear wing holders. To me that shows a GOOD designer...saves weight :-)

To me this 307 is a well designed car (better than the Vauxhalls) but just needs a bit more speed to take on the works cars. I think when they get that extra BHP Peugeot might think about giving them some works backing!!
Oh, just been watching some of the 90's Touring car races on video and I can't help but think to myself...Soper. If only his Brands crash didn't take him out of racing he would had been a GREAT person to be in that new 307...would had won a race by now! |

take it you're joking about saving weight, all the cars have to weight the same before ballast don't they?
they are some clever design bits on the car, i noticed the flat side skirts alongside the side of the car take it they're there for extra downforce. |
