pink69 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid

Who will win the Motogp crown this year? Despite the lack of success I think Biaggi will do it. Just look at the first qualifiying at Suzuka!!!

I'd say it is Rossi's year this year.

And my opinion of Biaggi has dropped a little more after the elbowing he gave Rossi.

As I've said it on another thread this year should, IMHO, be make-or-break for Biaggi, my fav driver (and I agree with Elephanitino ), and I somehow don't se Nakano (my other fav driver) winning it out of a box. And I'd like to see McCoy put on a strong challenge. But I have a feeling this will prolly be Rossi's year.

Rossi gets the vote!

Although my heart is with Shinya Niakano, what a champ!
He missed out World champ by half a wheel, and didn't even complain. Superb ride in Japan. He will be in the top 5 at the end of the year.

I do think Kenny has bad luck on his side, just about no develepment on the bike and a Sete by his side.
A world champ deserves better!!
I think he is riding the wheels of the thing at the moment.

I'll quote my father in discussing Max "he getting like mark skaffe" which, i think means his agressively going backwards, and his time is just about up. Max wont win this year. And if he doesn't win the year after on a 4-stroke, its over.

Mr Garry McCoy. He's an Aussie, he goes forwards and sideways at the same time. He is unpretentious like all us lovable Australians. He has big ears...

asha, be nice...I like Mark Skaife. And as Skaife is still winning I don't see that as going backwards.

Nakano is doing a great job, and yes, was amazing last year being very gracious in such a close defeat. It was a good clean race and you cannot say the best man won on the day as both, in my opinion, were as good as eachother.

Moff, the big ears are his secret to sliding so well

okay eleph,
I'll be nice to skafy. I don't really follow the 4 wheel thingOs anyway.

I do think it will be interesting to see if O Jacque can do as well as a Nakano, with no testing, didn't really follow his career to much before 2000 in the 250cc class, but didn't he try to win it for many years?

I don't know how does everyone rate him?
I think his good but, I wonder how quickly he can take the step up? Its one thing to win after hanging around year in year out (not many get that chance) but to move in and do the job thats something else (thats val)

Other then that I'm (like you all) really looking forward to Welkom. I have a feeling that Haga will go well.
Anybody want to put there money down now??

Asha- many moons ago he was having great battles with Biaggi, Harada and Waldmann. Back in those days, if he had won the crown against such opposition nobody could say it was undeserved (not that it does now ). BTW, I find it quite a pity that Ralf switched to 4 wheels (Carrera Cup, IIRC).

I found Jacques very good, but a little inconsistent during a season until last year. I think Nakano pushed him that little bit more that he needed to become a champion.
