Chicanes no problem for Mr P. He'll just bypass them [probably got the idea from Colonel Sanders] He'll pick up 10 second penalties by the handful and then use his skill, speed, technique, race craft etc. to claw the time back and still win by a country mile.

Whats going to happen this year with regards qualifying. Is the idea of drawing names out of hat for linig up in the assembly area still going to be there, or are we going back to the format of first come, first served?? Have to say, I think it worked better how it was.....

Some people hope it is going back to how it was. That is why there are four cars lined up already.

It is easier for the Assembly Area marshals to not have queues of over enthusiastic mechanics trying to get Assembly pole, so we will probably use some form of "list".
The first round could be in last seasons championship order and subsequent meetings in current standings order.
Maybe the order could be receipt of race entry order. Now that one should knock late entries on the head - but probably wouldn't.

Well decision made then. It will be in "reverse" Championship position.

Or how about, in the finishing positions from the Charity Karting at Three Sisters on Saturday 14th February at High Noon, teams to be posted somewhere soon by RR - hopefully

Together with your 'pole' comment on another thread I think your sense of humour is becoming almost understandable.

I think assembling by champ leader first would suit everyone.

Why can't you queue upm when you want? Racing is all in the mind.I always thought it best for my driver to get there early, but later decided it was best to get there last just to mess Hutch and Roberts heads about. Don't know whether it did any good or not, but it didn't do any harm. LOL

It's obviously seen as a bit of gamesmanship, so lets carry on - its a laugh innit? We need more regimentation like a hole in the head, and anyway, the BRSCC have more to do than worry about times at the assembly area, surely.

And furthermore, why SHOULD we have to be allocated a space behind cars we don't want to be behind or in front of cars we dont want to be infront of?
