Brands Hatch
Anyone heard about Job losses at Brands?
I have been told by an employee that atleast 50 jobs are to go?? Anyone shed some light? |

Not heard or read anything but when a company/organisation is taken over is is usually the case that job losses follow as an act of streamlining...
Hopefully in this case they will be few and far between.. |

Perhaps it is probably best not to talk about some of these issues where we really don't know and rumers are spread and this website's name and the marshals are put in a bad light. The new owners of the 4 circuits are keen to help the marshals when the time is right( following on from Stephen Greens meeting with JP) so lets not upset the boat and work with him.

In last weeks Motorsport News, Palmer stated that there would more than likely be some "streamlining" (read job losses), and that they would mainly be at Brands. I expect most of the upper BHL management will go to be replaced by Palmers own organisation.

I agree with Richard and that until there is some announcement it would be foolish to comment. I would add that the Marshals Forum really isn't the place for this discussion and so if the thread continues I will move it to a more appropriate home.
