Hey, I forgot this was on!

Wow, look at Barron and Carpenter again! I'm going to be sorry I didn't put Carpenter in my top 5!

Good showing by Mark Taylor.

In fact, everyone's done well - it's so close and that points to a good, tight race.

Some observations:

19 cars entered, wish it were about five more, but oh well

Only five of them are G-Forces, not surprising? (guess we are in for a season of ugly nosed cars, or will teams switch around?)

Definitely Chevy is strong with four of the top five spots, quite the opposite from last year

But most importantly, less than half a second (.4876) separates the top from the bottom, yet the cars are averaging 212 to 216! Try that NASCAR!!!

It was fairly chilly here (for Miami)...low 60s...but it was really warm for the test days....

Let's see what happens over the weekend in quals and in the Race....

That's when it will count....

They did much better at the first test, I don't know what happened here, and Kanann, way off the pace!

Barron and Carpenter are for real at this track! Thats their second great test here.

Man, lets go racing!

First day of practice, it's sure mixed up. Hornish 10th in his first session with Penske?

But Kanaan is less than half a second off in 19th. That's pretty much a "NASCAR-type" list!

Sorry, but being 5 MPH slower here, is way off the pace. I think if you asked Tony about it, he would agree.

Tony's quotes were along the lines of, the team having four cars means they try different set ups on day one of practice, and he knows they have the speed from the feedback Wheldon has given.

I hope so, because I have him to win Sunday, in the Indy League Fantasy game!

I just wasn't figuring any of the AGR cars to be that far down the order.

Less than half a second isn't "way off." Within that mix, a whole lot can change.

Well Sharp, just qualed at 212.769, and he says he's way down and doesn't know exactly what the problem is. He'll be starting close to the rear with that time. He doesn't feel very confident with that speed, especially when you consider some of these guys went over 218 last time.
