Crash Test should be qualifying in the top 5 on the gridCrash Test should be qualifying in the top 5 on the grid
Hidden Valley Format

On top of practice, qulifying, the top 10 shootout, a warm up, and who races on Sunday, there will be an extra 20 minute race on Saturday afternoon.

What do you think? Good for the fans, or too much pressure on the teams??

Not for at least 80% of them. They're well set up to achieve this, the schedule shouldn't be a problem at all.

And the drivers won't mind a bit...

the teams will be able to handle it and the fans will love it I guess...

so this is back to 3x20 min races just one on saturday and 2 on sunday ???

very strange indeed.

I think the extra 20 minute race is a good idea...why not throw the odd race in to vary the series even more. I think the extra race is also because they get such great support from the NT Government they decided to give them more of a show.

The complaint about the races on 2 days was that they were only 45 minute races. But then the ATCC used to have only one 50 minute race and people didn't complain. But then they had more support categories which also put on good racing.

I have no problem with the extra race, just the timing of when people are told. It should have been done at the start of the season, not part way through.

I agree with elephino, they should not change the format of any rounds part way through the year, although we are starting to get used to this type of thing ,dare i say consistently inconsistent
