Not many cars past one another on the straights did they so maybe the minimun weight internals might be working two fold cost & horsepower

Last year Bargs would have been easily been passed down the straight by Kelly and Murph in those scraps. Some decent grunt with a well setup car (remember top 5 in NZ and at the creek last year). This team is about to reach its potential at last. Hope Larko can keep his eye in for that deserved Bathurst victory!

Are the Larko engines the same spec as SBR give their own cars though, that is the real question?
Bargs did seem to lose out to Kelly in the HP stakes just a little, but Ingall's car seemed no faster. |

Bargs was on fire today but it wasn't all about engines what about the chassis development that has continued from the last 2 races last year - I just think that they have a good package, good budget and are getting some just rewards for some hard years.

Who would buy the race team side of it GTR? Do you think 888 would run 4 cars?
This is only a senario in my opinion, can't see it happening. |

Hows about a Skaife-style free kick, Craig to become team principal? Perhaps with technical support from SBR or 888...

I know it is a very one eyed comment.... But if you took the results from the last 3 meetings (NZ, Eastern creek and the GP). Bargs would almost be winning on points. Maybe only Bright in front. Thats my fantasy land Point is I don't think the GP result is a flash in the pan. Looks like the best year for LMS since 98/99. I AM EXCITED!

Bargs is doing well. I would have thought the team may have entrusted the new car to Bargs to sort, instead of handing it to Winterbottom... if only because Bargs has had a couple of new cars in his life, and is used to the new car blues...
