Brands Hatch Spectator views
Hi. Can any one help?
I have never been to Brands Hatch before and I am going to the Touring cars next Sunday the 25th I think. Where is the best place to sit for the best view of the track? And which entrance should I head for. Thanks. Kevin..... |

Anywhere is good at Brands really. The outside of Paddock Hill Bend is popular but gets very busy; personally I watch from the exit of Druids. If the bridge is back up try watching from the infield at Druids as well.

No matter where you sit...you get to see nearly half the circuit.

I always like to watch from all over the place, Outside of Paddock is usually quite spectacular, I quite like Clearways too, plenty of incident there!!
And the inside of Druids is a great atmosphere!!! |

Here is another view from the Paddock Hill Grandstand. If I remember correctly, this is from the very top of the Grandstand:
http://pages.123-reg.co.uk/spark1-62...picture158.jpg This is from the outside of Paddock Hill - like cos said, it does get very busy so if your their for photo's try and get a good spot or pay the cost for the Grandstand seats which are worth it! http://pages.123-reg.co.uk/spark1-62...picture443.jpg |

On that note, does anyone know what happened to the Bridge on Druids?
And is it going to be put back up? |

Yeah, you can see a lot of the circuit from most positions.

The Druids bridge is back and open so you can get to the infield section, but most of the extra fencing is still there.

I plan to be at touring car on Saturday next weekend and I am glad that inside Druids is still open! Hope to get some good photo shots from there.

As I said, the extra fencing is still in place so don't expect to get much in the way of good photos.

Just got back from a very wet Brands today. The view from inside Druids is prety good (see attached photo). The best view is from Druids down to Graham Hill Bend. It was also the driest spot today.
Neil PS Apologies for posting the picture and not a link but I don't have a website yet. |

Kev,
To get a good place to see from make sure you are there early. I suggest being at the circuit by 9.00am latest or you will miss out. Use the main entrance on the A20 and keep walking straight ahead and you will come to Paddock Hill Bend on your right hand side. Bring a seat and plenty of warm clothes and a good brolly to avoid getting cold/wet. |

It's a pleasure. If you pass a marshals post with a guy in red trainers it will probably be me so stop and say hello. If there's any other information you need please drop me a PM and I'll be glad to help where possible.

The view from next to the beer tent is excellent although it does seem to become a little fuzzier as time passes.
