Photographing at Rockingham
Hello there!
I self appointed myself as our club's (TSSC) official race photographer for our monthly magazine - photographing several races from the sidelines and around the paddock last year and early this year. We've finally been sucessful and been granted a media pass for Rockingham this Sunday, so I can get up close and get some proper shots for once. So can anyone give me any tips as this will be my first time with a pass...? Where to get the good shots? My technique is pretty solid - I just need tips for actually moving about the circuit and how not to look too amateur It's reasonably daunting - and I don't want to do anything foolish! Hi James. Can't help you with where to be on Sunday but though it worth mentioning that Sunday's events are on the "sports car" circuit configuration.
See you there |

Thanks!
I think I'm mainly apprehensive about the whole "going to the other side" - but Im sure I'll be fine once there! I'll just follow the other photographers in to begin with - and then wander off as not to upset them Hopefully I'll have a few good shots to show you all Sunday eve! I'll leave you with one from my amateur archive http://www.mintylamb.co.uk/motorsport/ James Last edited by JamesC; 20 May 2004 at 11:07. |
