Reports are false Y! da Man! The only talking I think they've done is when Mika visited the Monaco paddock on the Wednesday before the Grand Prix and was seen chatting to loads of people. He spent a lot of time talking to Michael Schumacher: does that mean that he's planning to take Michael's seat at Ferrari in 2005?
See how easy it is for rumours to spread... |

Oh well, but Mick and Hugo will surely do a nice pairing! Only a couple years to go and we're all set! |

I don't think he's coming back. At least not in F1.
He'll drive some selected events here and there, just for fun. Like on last weekend on Ahvenisto, Finland, when he participated the Porsche Supercup Scandinavia event, winning the Saturday event and coming second on Sunday after PSI Racing BelCar driver Markus Palttala. The Porsche he drove |

Yes, he already said he wouldn't come back, because he'd had enough. I don't think it's realistic to suggest he would, but it's a nice thought nonetheless.

I really don't see the point to this. Not Mika-bashing at all, but he's had his day and did very well. Lets get some more new blood in instead of encouraging back drivers who patently have had enough.

Apart from the Porsches recently, what is he doing now?
He's one of those people that I've also found rather intriguing.... |

It would be absolutely superb to see Mika back on the track, but this is mere speculation, and it will all turn out to be just that. Mika is happily retired and the only way we'll see him back in the fold is maybe in a managerial role or some sort of support-role. His driving days are behind him.
Why come back anyway? Nothing left to prove. He's a dual WDC with a bundle of wins and a book of memories. |

I would thoroughly enjoy it. I imagine Mika is on FW's short list.
Afterall, Mika was the only one aside from Hill (who wasn't that good at it) to take the race to Michael and his Ferrari. |

I don't think he will return. The article I was reading on him testing for Williams mentioned that his son is starting school this fall and so speculated that Mika would be getting bored - lookin' for some action.
As much as I would like to see him in a Williams, I doubt it will happen. WOULDN'T MONTY BE FURIOUS. |

I still think many people underestimate what Mika went through merely to survive, let alone become a great champion. |
