All gives us something to talk about and good stuff all 'round. Bring on Canadian Tire.....I mean Mosport!!!

Oh, how very NASCAR of them.
In 'related news' to the Briscoe incident....the bulls trampled 23 people today in Pamplona, Spain.....which worked out nicely for me financially as I had a 10-timer on the 'bulls and the over'.

I was gone from home for a couple weeks, and just watched. Probably already mentioned, but all I'd like to say is, O'Connell sucks as a presenter.

The Toronto Indy notebook on racer said that Briscoe will be able to drive at mosport. It just couldn't heal in one day.

To me, the fact that ALMS has 3 presenters for races is a bit excessive. Johnny O isn't great, but his place is to add colour. Unfortunately with 3 people it is hard t get that balance correct and Johnny O ends up talking too much.

Johnny O is also there because he knows what he's talking about. I remember a qualifying session from sometime this year, in which O'Connell predicted that a particular PC lap would be really quick. Till and JH disagreed, saying it looked slow. Turned out to be the lap that won the pole.

Except, for example, when he called Lucas Luhr "Graf" at least three times. He also made a few other "driver errors." His high pitched, breathless, giggle-while-describing-a-pass also gets annoying (sort of like "boggityboggityboggity). Sometimes only dogs can hear him.
But hey, 20 years as a presenter, what do I know. Just my opinion.

Yeah Johnny O grates, but it is nice having a recent driver in the booth. I think Darren Law is much more palatable in Speed's coverage of GA and Le Mans.

Having Brian Till and Hindy for play-by-play is redundant...

Yeah. I prefer John Hindaugh. This man could make the inside of a cereal box entertaining!

Agree with you on Law. Brian should do billboards, and Hindy do the play-by-play, with insight from Law.

I had to follow races using only Radio LeMans and T&S in 2010. Hindhaugh always annoyed me, because whenever anything bad happened to one of the Vettes, he'd always assume it was the one further up the order, even though oftentimes it wasn't. They've only had the same way of telling the two cars apart for a decade!
But, he is a lot of fun to listen to.

As for the recent driver commentators, Kendall is another who's fairly good.

I am also no fan of Johnny O as a commentator, but to be fair he seems to me to be much better this year than last.

I liked Johnny O' better when he wasn't talking and he was driving the mighty GT1 Corvettes.

He's is getting better and is such a nice guy it is hard for me to not like him. He's still winning too. Just got his 50th win for GM.

I just saw that at the beginning of qualifying on Friday that the track temperature was 130 degrees Fahrenheit.

The 2005 Bahrain Grand Prix that everyone talks about; the track temperature there was 133 degrees Fahrenheit.
