The Team BOC car has 207 points after the first round, and its pilot is 5th in the championship. That is a significant improvement in this car/team from last season.
As hard as it would have been to make the change, Mr Richards seems to be a good investment for them... Now if Mr McConville didnt bin the car in qualifying..... |

Another year of watching the Triple Eight cars driving off into the distance.
Will looks like he is going to give Tander a big hurry up. FPR, with the resources that they have, they should be doing what T8 are doing Nothing changed from last year, again. |

The blue Mr Davison didnt cover himself in glory either... slower than Mr Bright, who was in the older car, and the schoolkid....
Very strange |

fpr were very ordinary i laughed when they sent an email to race control about jason richards holding frosty up maybe frosty should try and pass a car on track once in a while instead of trying to pass a car via email. |

A bit early in the season to draw any conclusions......Will may have done even better if he hadn't tried too hard in qualifying. From what I saw today it appears Will can take the fight right up to Whincup. Tander may end up playing second fiddle.

He hasn't been in a fulltime v8 drive for a while now (3 or 4 years?). And with testing the way it is, it takes time to get up to your full potential. Most of the current drivers have had the bums in v8 seat every 3 or 4 weeks. It wasn't helped by the couple of car issues he had over the weekend. After seeing his efforts in the enduros we know the potential is there. It'll just take time. |

i'm surprised the DJR faithful havn't been in tearing shreads off Will Davo for saying over the radio at race end and again on the podium the HRT car is the best car he has ever driven. also he seems pretty happy to be on the red side, go Davo, i think he will give GT a touch up this year.

True that. It isn't a bad move to bring a driver or engineer in with the latest practices of 888 or HRT/WP... Or really anyone that is doing well for their budget, including the better performed of the midfield on a per $ basis, their ideas could really work well with SBR's bigger budget.

I also loved how Davo said that "there are no Ford's in front of us, just some pigs."

Interesting penalties
... with points deductions not just resetting track position... presumably as qualifying counts for all races now. Mr Marshall's car must have had something wrong with the pitlane speed limiter to get caught 3 times in the same session |

Davo just showed what i reffered to earlier on in the year about Team Red's arrogance, he fits in perfectly, the may need to give him bigger helmet to fit his head in for furutre racers. Trully Ungreatfil comment from a driver whom i still Held some respect for. (Held being the appropiate word.) DJR gave him the best of what they had with the small $$$ they had. Very Very Poor IMO, and a slap in the face for DJR. When Lowndes won 3 bathursts or won his first race in blue colours after being in team red you never saw him say ohh the Vodafone car or the falcon best thing he has ever driven. Poor choice of words Will Poor Choice of Words. His Team Mate from last year was catching him towards the end of Race 1. Few more laps it may have been interesting. The DJR of Jnr seemed to look after its tyres a little better and seemed to have some genuine pace in the last 20 laps when it counted. |

Wills gone from DJR in tough times to HRT. It more than likely was the best car he's ever driven.
I highly doubt that when he relayed the message of thanks to his new team on a job well done he knew that it was going to air on national TV. |

Ohh no bee i just feel he has shown disrespect for he previous team. Yeah he has moved on so what what i am getting at is his whole attitude has changes since putting on a red suit. Same can be said for tander once he left HSVDT. |

I agree Axe, 888 build a brilliant car. DJR have normally a strong engine package, Personally the best change in a long time for DJR to notch up a few wins
