Nothings confirmed yet I belive. Last thing I heard was that they where looking to buy one of the old Schnitzer E46s that ran in WTCC last year, but for that they would need an extra 1 million SEK (100 000 €) wich they didnt have 2 weeks ago, maybe they have now. Priority is on buying a new E90 engine for Flashs E90 and i would be good to have a backup engine as well, thats most likely already done tho and all we can do is wait til they announce how they will do with what driver in what car.

What is the budget for STCC season? only 100.000 euros?

No, that is "only" what they need to continue at the moment for the two damaged cars.

It does sense, then what´s the budget for STCC season? I know budget details for WTCC, but no idea about a national championship.

If I'm not totally senile Flash Engineering got 250.000 euro from their main sponsor "Posten" (Swedish Mail Service) and another 250.000 euro from another sponsor called Meca (The STCC main sponsor as well).

300.000 or 350.000 € every car. My source is a Spanish magazine, I don´t remember what one.

But then that should cover buying 2 brand new E90s with spares and engines as well as running them together with one E46 and also helping another E46 driver that runs in the privateer class. They also built brand new facilities during the winter. It might not be cheap but if you want the latest and best toys you better spend you money wisely and not tear your cars up and blow all your engines.

Robert Dahlgren in the Volvo who had been quickest during practice suffered a puncture and ended up in the gravel trap. He will start from 10th. Storckenfeldt in the other Volvo had some mechanical problems and ended up in 13th place.

Edward Sandström is once again on the sideline after wrecking his car and Duncan Huisman is in Mexico driving with the big boys. But 19 cars on the startingline nevertheless.

Got to see it yesterday on tv. Looked like a great race. Too bad they missed the Björk vs. Stockenfeldt incident.

Flash Engineering is going to fit their BMW 320si with brand new Öhlin dampers and Göransson will get a sequential gearbox for the coming race at Knutstorp this weekend.

It's a shame the STCC went back to the dark ages with the TV-coverage for this year. It's been so bad I'm sad to say that I haven't even bothered to watch the last couple of races.

While that is a good idea, is it enforceable? Couldn't the programming be imbedded in the ECU? Didn't F1 have the same problem as well?

My guess would be BMW, because the way Huisman is driving from the back to the front all the time, is too good to be true.

I think so, because the technic in STCC is much simpler than in F1, so it should be alot easier to control.
