So far, there's only been 3/4 I think. Seems like the majority of the drivers are on their best behaviour.
Edit - 4/5 now, Cairoli also pinged. More fool me, but everyone knows the rules, and what will happen if you break them. |

Why does the FCY take this long? That #11 has been put on the track like 5 minutes ago ...
And now the SRO Idiots scramble a Safety Car for THAT (*) ??? Absolutely ridiculous!! (And yes, I will repeat that every time it happens) -- (*) A single non-damaged car parked on to grass and unable to rejoin the track |

WRT have missed a trick with the leading car, Frijns has lost out massively by not pitting. |

Back after a rare trip to the mall for a family walk since its too hot outside. These safety car periods is going to keep the field together. There will be potentially 15-20 cars on the lead lap still come sunrise because of this. Drivers need to be patient becasue the FCY/SC's will not ever let anybody get away.

Ryan talks to me via social media a lot, he knows this FCY/SC rule is dumb. Notice he does not give much opinion about it. Ryan is a great addition to the broadcast. So happy for him.

The GT WC sprint races are quite enjoyable to watch. I realized this because the FCY/SC rule is not really a big deal in the 1 hour races. Its these endurance races where it reveals its ugly side and ruins the race so much. Its dry now hope we get a long green period. So we can a big portion of the field lapped. I think if you go even 1 lap down your chance at victory is over. At least they don't have a wave around rule (ahem...imsa)

According to the timing there are 24 cars on the lead lap right now. That is really the thing to track more than anything else for the next 18 hours (currently 3 horus 17 min into the race as I type this). Then that point who is left where they are around the track then you can see who the contenders to win are.
For now 7 different makes in the top 10 overall now. side note: big let down there is no Lexus and Acura on the grid this year. |

Inception/Optimum Mclaren not exactly helping the Jota McLaren there...
EDIT: The Inception/Optimum McLaren driver (Iribe) is at least being equally annoying to all 3 cars. What an idiot ! |

Finding out Brendan Iribe co-founded Oculus and, upon Googling, used to date Emma Watson has blown my mind somewhat.
