I don't think Northern South will be entering the two seats (could still be three?)

There's also no real need for Seat to worry about a third car now that only two can be nominated for points...just means Vauxhall's #3 guy won't pick up the advantagous straggling points anymore over Seat's "experienced and race win" capable guys. |

There never is. I said the same with Vauxhall. I can almost 100% guarantee both VX and SEAT will have 3 cars. Admittidly, one may be driven by a pay driver.

What I mean is that you seem to think it was a big deal that you correctly predicted that Seat would enter. That was hardly a major surprise now was it. If your other 2 dozen predictions all turn out to be true then maybe you've got justification for being smug.
Then you go and post "Team-mate will be Shaun Watson-Smith" with no indication if you are stating a fact or simple an opinion. Actually you have since add "my prediction - before you jump at me" but that wasn't there initially so I can only assume you realised your mistake and editted the post. Perhaps there's hope for you after all. For what it's worth I think there probably will be a third Seat on the grid, although whether that's run under the Seat Sport UK banner is another matter entirely. |

My personal feeling is that they will run two drivers paid for (as this year) and may still run a third paying driver (as this year). The limiting factor will be the availability of cars, IMO.

I've totally lost track of all this now
So what are we talking about it terms of: 1) Confirmed entries. 2) Likely entries. 3) Rumoured entries. |

Also,
having now read the Seat press release I wish to revise my earlier post - it looks like it will be Northern South running the Seats "building on the teams experience" |

Great news about SEAT coming back next season. At least it gives Vauxhall someone to compete against for the Manufacturers championship.
I was wondering what Rob Collard might do next year?? If WSR get that Chevrolet deal that was mentioned i wonder if they would keep him on. Also did someone mention earlier that Jason Hughes has now bought 2 MG's which were raced in Germany?? Does anyone know if he plans to run them both under his Kartworld name or was it supposed to be with help from WSR. |

Most of the 2006 grid won't fall into place for sure until early next year, but there are lots of positive rumour flying around. SEAT returning is great news, and I'm sure we'll have official confirmation from Dynamics before long. Additionally the Fast-Tec rumour seems stong and WSR are certainly keen to put a new deal together. "An experienced driver who can challenge for wins at every circuit" could be Smith or Pickford in SEAT PP-spiel.

Can't see Smith at Seat; expect him to take Opel Ireland's Euros back to VXR. Pickford? I would have thought that if Seat were keeping him, they could have confirmed at the same time as JP.

Reid's a possibility, or Turkington?
Have SpeedEquipe, Kartworld or TechSpeed said anything official about 2006 yet? |

I've heard SEAT want 2 experienced drivers for a serious teams title attempt. That would include Reid and maybe Turkington I'd guess so no real chance for Pickford.

Back on who is confirmed.
I am sure that I read that Dave Pinkney is a certainty as well for 2006. |

It is good news that Seat have confirmed for next year and they are going to have "An experienced driver who can challenge for wins at every circuit" to partner JP, there possiblites as I see it Turkington, Collard, Watson-Smith, Reid.
As for SpeedEquipe I did read somewhere that the cars are for sale, not sure how ture that is but I got the impression from what was said at the end of the year that they would be back in some way shape or form. As for Kartworld and Jason Hughes from what I can work out he will be back for a whole season with an MG with the Judd engine. I have not heard or seen anything about TechSpeed's plans for next year. |

Prediction?
I think that I need to get my Crystal Ball out again. Or should I use the Tarot Cards.
