That is huge!
You could sit on it and go for a ride around the track infront of the car |

I cant really understand Lambda racing's buissiness model. As far as i can see, they sell Ford GT GTE and Ford GT GT3 and upgrades for the cars.
Firstly I dont ever remember seeing a Ford GTE car, i am not even sure if the Ford GT GTE is FIA homologated. Why would anyone in their right mind buy this car. Similar goes for the Ford GT GT3, while yes the car is FIA homologated, i cant really see anyone wanting to buy the car. A) production of the road car stopped years ago. B) development of upgrades is only being done by a tuning company not the manufacturer itself, meaning probably less money going in = less performance from said upgrades. Unless the car is going to be fantastically cheaper than any of the other GT3's on the market, i cant see anyone buying it. Also I can only think of 1 (Sunred), maybe 2 teams who already run Ford GT3's and would need upgrades. Alternatively if Lambda run the cars themselves with paying drivers, i still dont see how they will recoupe their costs. |

Isn't Lambda owned by a rich business man who wants to spend some money until he finds another hobby?

They probably never had a Genesis in workshop after all this time. Vaporware, nothing of value was lost.

As for Ford, I think that Lambda has only one chassis that was racing last year in FIA GT/ADAC Masters. There's a possibility that today they've got second one from Portugal (or replace that one crashed at Donington). So, they are not "manufacturers" at all. Just grid fillers.

Has the Camaro passed FIA GT3 homologation yet? I havent heard anything since last year when two different cars were being put forward for homologation or so I recall.

While I don't know if it has been passed by the FIA, there have been at least two Camaro's racing in ADAC GT Masters series in Germany.
Pictures here http://www.racingsportscars.com/phot...012-07-15.html I hope that helped |

This is an LP600+ FL2, In black matte seems good, but i don't want to see it in a poor livery.
Counting the days for the Gallardo replacer, this wants to seem alike the Sesto elemento with the air intakes, but at the end fails terribly with those billiard triangles inserted on the front, far away from the Aventador. |

whatever anyone thinks of the Viper programme, Ralph Gilles' openness throughout has been fairly refreshing. GT3 would make a lot of sense for selling customer versions of cars, but it's clear they've not started anything yet.

Not a surprise to see them looking at GT3. Fair enough that they wanted to get the GTE off the ground first. What really surprises me is that Corvette haven't put together something from P&M. A question of resource you'd imagine but when you see that Audi have shifted 100 R8's that's a lot of money being made.

I think that SRT and riley for a US racing customer program should produce an SRT viper grand-am GT spec, a lot of cars can be sold to customers for the incoming 2014 USCR. GT3 models of american cars for european championships usually are made by tuners; camaro-reiter, corvette z06-callaway, ford gt-matech/lamba and on...

On the other hand it makes sense for SRT with the SCCA Pirelli World Challenge now accepting GT3's giving them access to their home market as well as Europe, Japan, Australia, Brazil, etc.
Anyone know if Alpina are working on a new GT3 yet? |

I think that SRT/Riley are waiting for the new Mfg./FIA/ACO agreement to standardize the 'GT' cars, at which point I believe that USCR will adopt those GT guidlines and produce GT3s. L.P. |
