But at the same time, ESM is in no position to do anything but help Ferrari's lead team at this point. It made no difference in the Manufacturer's Title chase but it did slightly impact the Team and Driver's Championship. I'm sensing a Pow Wow soon. Last edited by dj4monie; 24 Aug 2010 at 19:46. |

Heck the Corvette's are out of the title hunt, so was there barging Bruni off not needed either? Get a grip man and stop talking nonsense. |

Pretty sure two of the full course cautions, the LMPC/BMW backstretch shunt & the Jag parking it, took up at the very least 25-30 minutes of the race; that's nearly 20% of the timed race on those two cautions alone (not sure why it took so long to get the Jag off the track). Cautions were most certainly a factor in keeping the field close, and the timing of said cautions, and others, bunched the fields up, as you yourself eluded to. |

From the Drayson website;
http://www.draysonracing.com/video/player/2010/ According to my research first ALL British win, previous British winners have either been American teams or included non British drivers, appropriate perhaps for a team owned by a former British Government Technology Minister |

You're the one not making any sense. Cosmo was not going to gain anything by passing Bruni at the end. He finished 5th, not in line for the victory. What was on the line but only moving up from 6th, 2 points. At the front you have to try and Cocker pushed like mad and got there. It helped the Porsche coughed going into Canada Corner though. They got the victory and its a feel good moment in the paddock. |

As far as all this banter about Cosmo passing the Risi car at the end, rather than team orders or gaining more points. Has it occurred to anyone that these are RACING drivers, they try to pass or avoid being passed until the checkered flag falls and maybe it was just ESM's way of showing Risi and Ferrari that they are really getting their heads around these cars and that they could be a force in the remaining races and next year?
