Thought it was nice of V8X to hand out copies when I was leaving Sandown. Disappointed to get home and look, only to find out it was Nov '16 edition.

Got a letter in the mail on Friday saying Race Magazine is no more.

Sadly the re-launch hasn't worked well enough for it to be viable.

that is very generous and honourable for race magazine to be doing refunds, have been burnt before on magazines going under

I understood that Mr McDornan was a short term temporary solution for AA after Mr Branagan left the building. A great choice for the magazine, however a long term permanent solution is probably going to be required.

Weird that McDornan only lasted one edition, coupled with an editorial from Fogarty in the next one sort of explaining some things but not really.

With Fogarty at the helm you would assume it's in good hands? I noticed he still has presence in the newly re-titled "Supercar Xtra Magazine" (Formerly V8X)

While I enjoy the columns in Chevron’s Bathurst preview magazine each year, has Australian Muscle Car Magazine really gotten to the point it needs the fictional “Professor Victor Haight” writing columns about TCR??

I agreed with the sentiment of the column, and I know Chevron no longer has an MRA type magazine outlet for this sort of story, but I found it’s presence in AMCM odd

Although I still look forward to AMC every two months, the editorial team is struggling to keep the original focus on Aussie Muscle Cars.

I enjoyed the article on Max Stewart in the latest edition, but any connection to Aussie Muscle Cars is tenuous at best.

For a number of years I have thought AMC is similar to a Australian version of the English Motor Sport Magazine, ie closer to MRA than a magazine devoted to muscle cars.

Auto Action has been a regular purchase during the Chinese Curse.

They have really lifted their game, significant improvement over Bauer media efforts.
