apr is building up a second GT300 Prius with the AsLMS in mind, but they are not certain about it. Would not be too stunned to see an unexpected new Japanese LMP turn up too.

Well, when is the N24? Maybe they could race two 24 hour races with it. Can only hope.

Does anyone have an overview which teams are expected to participate or which have announced intentions to do so?

G'd night GT-Eins. monkeyhead post in this topic a list of teams that attended to the press conference in Shanghai.
Earlier this year, I heard from a good source that ORECA is intended to race in the "notorious" Asian Le Mans Series with a LMP2 further forward circumstances permitting. |

So apart from the Aston team we have no confirmed participants yet? My guess is that 20 cars would be needed to found a basis to build on - 18 to come.... |

By the way - did we already mention here that Dome received customer requests to build a LMP2-Version of its S102 for AsLMS?

Looks like a second confirmed team according to Sergio Fonseca on twitter. D2 Racing Sport from Taiwan entering a Lamborghini Gallardo GT3.

On our forum there were some unconfirmed speculations about possible Entrants - but 80% GT3:

It's November, teams will have time. You can't expect a huge grid overnight.

I thought maybe someone might have picked up on this but this is some great news for the AsLMS.
A likely two-car LMP2 campaign from Atlantic Racing with a long-term view to racing at Le Mans. Exactly what the series needs. Hopefully they can get all the funding together. http://www.planetlemans.com/2012/12/...ns+Newsfeed%29 |

heh "Prestigious 12 hours of Sebring"
damn it and I signed up for F1 AGP & MGP instead of staying in the US and doing Sebring and St. Pete... go figure! next year LM will take precedence over F1 |

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess Juntos means an AsLMS programme.
Another French team looking very closely at it is OAK. Jacques Nicolet is non-committal about pretty much everything in this E-I piece but the thing he seems most sure about is the AsLMS. http://www.endurance-info.com/versio...nce-14796.html |
