Quick question why somebody would find ADAC GT Masters more appealing to run than the Blancpain GT Sprint series? The grid numbers for the former are much higher than the later.

GT Masters isn´t much cheaper, but it has a goof free-tv live-coverage (good for the sponsors) in Germany and more countries - that hasn´t the Blancpain Sprint.

Grid numbers is only true of this season.... Sprint was running 30+ cars last year, now down to 20.

By no means is that a bad thing, 30+ last year often felt crowded, 20 will feel a bit more sensible maybe. Hopefully we see the old wild card entry each race to add some variation.

Teams only care about prize money and sponsors. Prize money in motorsport is usually minimal, and sponsors only care about viewers.

It doesn't matter if races have broadcasts in air tv, basic cable, premium or online. Then only thing that matters is having viewers.

I guess that the ADAC GT Masters has many more viewers than Blancpain GT.

Great that Frijns is staying in Blancpain as well as doing DTM (though I still think he should be in F1).
