Yeah, exactly that!

I suspect that it would only be changed if the ballast is having little effect on a car that is running away with the championship. This season, it does not seem likely that will happen.

I was there at Snetterton on Thursday, and boost or not, Mat was visually more committed and carried more cornerspeed than almost anyone through the Bombhole and Coram/Murrays sequence. The car appeared looser on the rear (he came into Murrays at slightly crazy angles a couple of times), and like the saying goes, scary is fast, safe is slow.

Seems like Sodemo is missing the parity arguments that we haven't really had much of this year.....

Good news for all involved, unless AJ somehow is stuck in an awful car for the next 3 seasons...

BTCC commercial group set-up by Warren Scott and Russell Morgan, with Alan Gow also sitting on the committee? Massive news and a forward step for the series if utilised correctedly. Opinions...

That's a shame, she undoubtedly has real talent and it would be a good thing for motorsport in general to have a young female driver who is fast and can mix it with the men. I wish her luck with her future endeavours.

He's already been quoted in Autosport as saying "no to BTCC return.

This has turned out be non-massive news.

Slight early over-reaction fail there.

Not a big surprise I guess. I'm surprised it took that long, with that much problems I'd left earlier already.

Wonder if Welch can find anyone else willing to fork out the £££ for just being on the grid? They'll need to if they want to keep the TBL.

I wanted Welch Motorsport to succeed this year, they've had a lot of bad luck and some dodgy decisions this last year, the car had pace but I feel they've bitten off more than they can chew. Wilmot stayed longer then I thought he would, especially as he demanded the toca unit and didn't get it

Dudley has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Yeah, Welch are trying and it's great and I also hope it works out.

Except when you've got a guy paying good money for a seat and you give him a car that's finished 1/3rd of the races. And failed to start another 1/3.

Some interesting news yesterday, more exciting than the commercial group thingy: BTCC cars will be featured in Forza Motorsport 6. Starting with Robb Holland's Audi and the two Speedworks/Handy Toyotas from 2014. That's very good publicity from Chairman Gow.

Now back to Starbucks to read my copy of MN and see if there are any more fascinating titbits of news........
