Not quite. We saw at Spa that the Ferrari was still able to make one less stop than it's competitors. DFI is still an advantage.
oh and Finally the GTE BOP is out. |

Aston also re-got it's extra 5 liter BoP help so it's capacity is now 10 liters bigger than both 458 and C7.R, which isn't helping

I thought they mentioned somewhere that this was it for Le Mans. They did the test with all the makes at a michelin facility. No more changes through Le Mans.
Also the Aston tends to use more fuel than the others because it carries a bit more drag than the others. It may be justifiable. |

Last year they bopped them too before AND after Test Day, no reason for it to be different now. Also read my sig, that is the stand of ACO today unfortunately. Race-to-race, session-to-session GT3 copycatting. |

I love aston martin road cars, but the vantage GT2/GTE is pretty ridiculous... an old car based on and old platform powered by and engine of 20 years ago... without bop helps, it would be slower than the slowest 458 gt-am...
Hope AMG will make also AM racing engines in future. |

DBR9 was fancy, and DBR1-2 Lola had that aaaaaaaaaaaawesome engine whistle that sounded like an orgasm. But then you got the biggest laughing stock of the century in the form AMR-One, and underpowered + underwhelming piece of **** Vantage GT2/GTE

They were granted changes regarding issues with the engine in the 2012 year. They should just drop the vantage as their race platform and run the Vanquish with the v12. Its a better newer car with a newer chassis based off the One-77. Problem is probably money

I think the reason Aston haven't moved on is because they can rely on BOP.

When I said "moved on", I mean went to a new GTE platform. Not leaving the sport. 007 will sit just as well on any aston .

Isn't Corvette also running a low drag kit? Why did the Ferrari need permission to run one?

I'm not sure it's a good sign if you're fast today in PRO, you might get slap in the wrist again. AMRs also being nowhere kinda have the taste of fishing for more gifts
You know it's pretty unbelievable how HORRIBLE luck the #74(/64) car has had every year since they last finished on podium in GT1 in 2008. Hoping for better |
