I like the look of the white car in pic 3. What is it?

Thanks for the link B96 but I'm still dazed and confused. Could be my age, of course!
Also not sure what Dame Nellie Melba has to do with it. |

Are you talking about what seems to me a Benz based ambulance here?? Better buy a replica of the Ghost Busters Ectomobile then! Or a Bentley hearse! Crazy world!

Oh and no one knows why Melba Toast. And I've seen director added the name or McConaughey ad-libbed it |

Thanks. I've always likes the Chevelle (was it also known as the Malibu?) from the mid sixties with the flat (ish) bonnet and boot (sorry, hood and trunk) that looked big enough to hold a dance on.

Chevelle is the model and Malibu was a trim level.
Just for clarification, the white one pictured is a 71 or 72. I can't see the front marker lights to tell. Melba Toast was a 70. |

See, knew he or Field would be able to give you the details, possibly date and time of build and if his family worked on that exact car or saw it on the line. Were they in Doraville or Detroit built?

Seeing the licence plate and tow balls, his mechanic has to keep on training…

Different sizes, our camper was an odd 1/8” of an inch off the scouting trailer. 2 wrenches and some cursing and you're ready to swap. Most of us just get a hitch carrier and multiple tow balls. Dad's truck has 3 now for boy scout trailers cause yeah they didn't think to check they were all the same

I like the 64-67 A-bodies but prefer the Pontiac and especially the Buick to the Chevelle. However, the 68-72 A-bodies are the epitome of a muscle car to me. All of them are cool, they look different from each other, each division had their own engines, and they slightly changed them every model year. |

Pretty sure my 86 Monte Carlo was a Doraville build, per JHamilton.
I'd have to say that one was a clone of some sort. Is it typical to have the SS badge in the middle of the rear bumper? Whatever it is, it looked really clean. Obviously not factree paint. |

You're right, it would be awesome if all of our utility and small trailers would switch over to 2" (which is 50mm). Most of the time I tow, it is a surprise job, and I keep a 2" ball on my truck (yes, i know that's illegal but you shouldn't have rear-ended me!) and it's never the right one. If you're using the largest size, that's a 7,000lb+ load and takes planning, so no problem. But make all the little trailers the same, please.

Hey, good idea cose you never know. Are the anti lace system like Al-ko make famous in your country too? A great addition I find: https://www.mon-camping-car.com/stab...00kg-alko.html
Not everything is perfect because, at least here where we love new laws, they made things easier for the special driving licence buuut now we have to follow the same speed regulation as artics, 90 kph max and no use of the fast lane on highways. Gone are the days when we could do 100 mph with a trailer carrying the race car! OK not all the cops are aware, fortunately… |

Nice! I saw a real one, from Season 2 - a jump car a few weeks ago. They had to bend the front frame back into place but still has the 440 Hemi with straight pipes. They say it sounds nice
It was in the same room as an original Batmobile, a bunch of FAST cars, Mike Tyson's former Murcielago and right next to Eleanor. Some really good, authentic stuff from George Barris. You just need to go into Gatlinburg. My phone got fried the very next day and I didn't have a chance to post. |

I passed an actual running and seemingly rust free TR8 convertible this afternoon. Was so surprised I didn't get a picture cause capturing a unicorn in the wild is not something you're ready for. I'll keep my eye out for him now

There must be some sharp debris on the way in. They’ve all got flat tyres.
