The 2024 N24 was moved to June 1-2, to avoid the clash with the FIA WEC Spa round.

N"ring 24 needs to evolve. Its time to get rid of all of the 3rd starting group classes. Let 40 GT3 cars race. Especially with interest from Chevy and Ford now. Also more Mercedes GT2, Porsche 992 Cup cars, Ferrari Challenge, Lambo Super Trofeo. That would work just fine.

No need to get rid of anyone. The total number of entries has been down the past couple of years. The many multiple classes is part of the history of th race. They will have no problem taking on new GT3 entries.

Errr no. GT3 cars is what attracts the audiences mysef included. Yes I know there is the Spa 24, however SRO ruins that race with their blasted safety car procedures. N'Ring 24 is the honest genuine endurance race left.

This year's race had over 30 GT3 entries, which is excellent.
I'd love to see more non-German cars, but I'm far from asking less classes. |

The manufacturers say that, but so many of the championships are in a very strong place and, as DSC say, there's big order books for the new cars....so one questions how much validity there is in what manufacturers are saying.

Well yeah but at that point there was no real alternative but now Ratel and manufacturers are pushing GT2 more and more.

Kyalami was a success the first time around .......
Unfortunately COVID and the associated travel restrictions ruined any potential progress. IMHO he will take the series back there in strength. |

Has to be. In fact we are seeing a major shift of GT3 racing now. The German and Italian brands won't control 90% of the GT3 market place anymore! Yes Chevy and Ford are coming in. But we are seeing Aston Martin, McLaren, and Lexus step up their games in 2024 it appears as well.
