Thanks for that article - good but confusing read.

They say VLN will get 5 of the 8 slots. I take it that doesn't mean only 3 slots free for racing? It just means their slots get reduced from 8 to 5. It still leaves more than 3 slots for other series to use the full circuit? And this 5 doesn't include the N24 and Qualifying event, as that's a separate thing?

It´s separate


The other Slots will likely go to the new Nürburgring Endurance Series, the new Series from the AvD and the Nürburgring which is intended to cannibalise the previous series.

This continues on. NES 1 has been cancelled. After it was switched to 2x90min on the GP circuit, it seems like there was a lack of entries. They say NES2 forward will continue to happen.

Dudes, the entry list for the FIRST NLS weekend looks like something you would see after the N'Ring 24....small. 100 cars which is small for NLS I think overall. Only 13 GT3 cars with no BMWs in GT3 at all...Whats up with dat. I guess only the Q-race and the 24 itself is worth following this year.

It's 117 cars for NLS and 107 for Sundays NLS2 - and, in fairness, that is only one down on the 118 that started NLS1 last year - with the chaos that's around that's not bad at all - plus the weekend clashes both with the opening round of GT World Challenge which definitely won't have helped!

Good day everyone! I'm going to take a chance with this question as perhaps some of you might have the answer. I'm interested in attending the qualifying race next Saturday at the Nürburgring. Unfortunately, I don't yet have a valid driver's license in Germany to be able to rent a car. From what I could research, getting to the circuit from Cologne or Bonn via public transportation is quite complicated. I was wondering if there's any shuttle service available connecting these or other major cities near the circuit so I don't miss out on this opportunity. I googled that with no success. Thank you very much!
