Indeed, quite why they thought doing this was a good idea, VLN and series before it have been running for a long time, the whole area is invested, teams, organisers, marshals.

I am guessing it it something to do with trying to oust the current lot from running the 24 which is the real money spinner

Entry list now out, 130 cars, as expected a pitiful 3 BMW’s, I was kinda hoping for a surprise entry from WRT or Schubert.

Pretty much, it's a shameless attempt to get a foothold then eventually oust NLS/marginalise ADAC from the running of the 24H. Good to see nobody is falling for it so far.

Unfortunately, I can't see this going away as long as Kharitonin has a majority stake in the circuit.

I was looking at the entry last night and the Manta is missing which really sad (however the Dacia is on the list).

It will also be interesting to see if the race gets more interest this year due to the Jimmy Broadbent effect.

They'll try again unfortunately.

Hopefully NLS can take the extra dates, but even then budgets/etc. will have been accounted for, so it's not a given that they can be taken or most of the entrants can make the extra dates.

Got a proper spotter guide for this race too! Why is that one Hancock Porsche Cup car a GTX and not a Cup2? GT3 entries are down this year I noticed and that is with an increased effort from Aston Martin teams.
