Since we're in Hungary this weekend, I've taken a look at the recently added changes to the Hungaroring. Don't get me wrong, there a good start, but I think with a few minor other ajustments the track could have had a better flow, especially on the back end of it.
And, you've guessed it, I made the changes. I've made the part from turn 2 to 3 more flowing and added a 90-degree right there. Additionally, I altered the following turns to somewhat resemble Maggots and Becketts at Silverstone. The last turn is a really fast right-hander, which would lead up onto the other new part of the track. Take a look and tell me what you think. |

I thnik i would bypass turn 2, 3 and 4 on Riverside, and use the oval instead.

Willow Springs. I am sure to get killed for my destroyal of the Sweeper, but i actually think it is great. You get a key overtaking possibility at the chicane (and you know there is more than destroyal to my chicanes... I hate chicanes...), and we have still got some sweeper left... Also, the Rabbit Ear is more of a long sweeper, after the tightening of T1...
But... If i dont get slaughtered for this... Then the track must be great ... |

destroyal is not a word. Destruction maybe?
I prefer the old track in thin case, though i do like your new T1. |

Destruction, yep... (Dont blame me, eventhough my father is american, i have had 7 different english teachers in five years ... Plus my fathers influence...)
Well... I added an extra overtaking possibility... So eventhough, sacrificing a blast of a sweeper, i think i can live with that... |

Allright, you keep your beloved sweep and i keep my chicane... Anyway, its easier to draw a chicane on a straight piece of road
Sorry for the jigsaw of colours... My stupid invertation idea caught me there |

nice.
Your English is pretty damn good considering. I know not a single word of Danish.... I have no probs with the loss of that corner BTW, i prefered your alternative, but i would have done it a little different. But nothin else needed changing apart from that and T1. |

Well... You dont have danish @ school... We have english already from 4th grade... And besides, english is impossible to keep away... Here in Denmark, the kids r goin to learn english from 1st already!... Anyway, they all use it in pc and console games... Words like "continue", "quit", "random", "play" and others are familiar to the kids before they hit their first english teacher... Theres not many games thats translated into danish...
Anyway... I think my last take at Willows was the best, because the sweeper is more open, which means more speed into T1. |

Last 4 now, Virtasalmi.
This track was awful, with a big A! Those guys who designed that track must have had nothing but skin and bones between their ears... |

hmm, there i was watching the GP, thinking, oh, i know how i could change that bit, yes i can cut through there, then add another infiled bit there, and then cut out another bit there...
But it doesn't look so great when drawn... BTW, the reason why the entry to T5 is sooo wide is that it would force the car infront to leave a huge gap for the car behind (as the line taken through the corner would change little) so it might be possible to in effect steal the corner. If he goes to cover the line on the inside, he's badly comprimised going into the chicane. |
