Maybe the Cup-Porsche from Hankook got some not homologated parts @ the car. So it doesn't fit in a class.

Hindy answered the question for us during the Q1 session. The Hancock tires IS THE reason why its SPX. 992 is all Michelin tires by mandate.

Steve Alvarez Brown (sim racer SuperGT) has been banned from the N24 for doing 145km/h in a Code 60 zone.

He went through 3 sets of double yellows, and the Code 120 before it, and then into the Code 60. He has been sent home.

The team also has a 90 second penalty for the race.

That was the Code 60 from Marciello's incident. I assume Brown was not concentrating enough/aware of the yellows at night, but it's no excuse for doing over double the required speed.

Sucks for the team the most; Metzger will probably do most of Brown's stints but Broadbent & Charoudin will have to step up.

Edit - A lot of penalties have been dished out so far. There might be quite a few drivers who have been reminded of the need to obey the rules.

BOP has been adjusted before the race. The Porsche's appear to have been hit hard.

The BMW which has been fastest all week is unchanged.

I understand the utility it provides, but pre-race BoP changes are leaving an increasingly sour taste. At least there aren't a raft of changes across SP9.

It's not an appearance - they've been slowed down in every way that matters: more weight, less power and less aero. Apart from a minor adjustments for the Vantage/Huracan, everything is as-is.

Harper pits from the start for wets. Estre takes the lead from the start.

Edit - Engel easily passes Estre on the GP loop. Cut slicks or wets on that car.

Edit - Harper almost 20 seconds up on comparable sectors to the leaders on this lap.
