It's going to be a long night for the team, slaving away over their laptops, repairing the car, trying to get 3 seconds of laptime back.

Villeneuve was 3.7 secs off his teammates' fastest laps.

When I mentioned he needed to get acclimatized soon and needs to do better on the Autosport forums, I was told it's the car's fault and I know nothing so who knows?

Apparently he did the Daytona 500 last year and some Euro NASCAR races in 2021. Not sure how useful that experience would be in terms of driving a sports prototype.
I'm sure he hasn't forgotten how to drive though. Let's see how he goes today. |

Hopefully, both Vanwall and Glickenhaus can find a few more ponies out there, as they were looking rather slow against the hybrids.

Are Glick and Toyota running at the same BoP as last year for Sebring?

Pugs already found a chunk of time, into the 1:49s.

1:50 for Dillmann in the Vanwall. One of the Ferraris stopped on track.

So crazy the Glickenhaus hasn't seen ANY track action since their last race at Monza. To not do any testing since then is.....

And to see the Vanwall currently having a faster time than the Ferrari is nuts

Of course we all want to see fast times today, but there is no telling what the teams are trying to accomplish here. Could be lots of setup work, and they might not go for outright pace at all. |

Toyota seems to easily get into the 1:48 consistently. If someone shows to much speed during this test would they run the risk of getting bop?

Toyota is seriously impressive. Clinically piling up mileage, fast (with probably a lot left in the tank). It's paid off being early to the game with continuous refinement.

Whatever issue the Ferrari had, it seems serious. Hasn't returned to the track or completed any laps.
