Wine suits me fine, thanks
Similarly to this subject, I do think it's a shame that the Portimao 32 Hours (or it's even longer intended original distance) never made it past the debut running... since even though the classes and regulations themselves were "more of the same", it did push the boundaries a little bit further machinery wise |

Britcar set to have a decent grid this year, 30+ cars at some rounds if last years momentum is anything to go by.
Format changing to 2x 1 hour races per weekend and no split sprint/endurance format anymore. Good amount of cars already signed up: http://www.britcar-endurance.com/news.php Good news for Chiana, at least 3 Saker's expected, 2x "factory" JPR cars plus at least 1, possibly 2 from ALP who ran one from last year. Top classes should include Radical RXC, couple of Ferrari 488's, Z4 GT3 and MacG Taranis (nee Ultima). Looks to be a nice variety all the way down through the field though. |

sadly, not so heavy on "endurance" but still good to have them

36 confirmed entries for opening round of Britcar this weekend at Silverstone. Possibly 38. Few less GT4/Class 3 cars this weekend but a nice variety up and down the field. |

I'm pretty sure the world can live without another one make series, but these cars look like good value and I suppose they could end up in VLN/24H Series/national championships. So less variety in the manufacturer backed series could mean more variety in the other series. Or something like that.

Nice to see Bartels still racing in a Z4. I agree somewhat with Chiana. This series used to have a nice assortment of various Gt class machinery and other one off stuff but seems to be following the GT3/4 formula moreso. With all that said I’m guessing this (and VLN) is where German gentlemen drivers race their GT3 cars now that GT Masters is basically all pro these days. Fair enough. |

Britcar has another strong grid for this weekend at Silverstone (33 cars including 3 Sakers).
However, the circuit are only offering weekend tickets for £25 to include the C1 24-hour race as well; no option for Saturday only for those of us who'd like to watch Britcar but not a bunch of small hatchbacks trundling round for 24 hours. |

So I found this series
https://youtu.be/qNnkm8aFTWU Could someone explain me in english what are the prototype categories supposed to be? There's P1 (with Ginetta G57 in it among other things I don't recognize) and P2 and P3 and P4, in addition to usual stock GT3 and GT4? Stuff in P1is interesting looking visually but I'd only be interested to follow if it's not a bop class, but it's hard to tell when the info's all in portuguese Btw what a fire of epic proportions https://youtu.be/zrgDFRZ5a38 |
