Today, Tokyo District Court decided Aguri Suzuki to pay 1.6 billion yen.
The lawsuit is a loan lawsuit that the Japanese brokerage firm appealed for. It is a lawsuit concerning Supe Aguri F1. http://mainichi.jp/enta/sports/news/...40088000c.html |

Just got around to watching the recording of the Sepang race today. Not a SuperGT classic, but good race still. Samurai, so should all Autobacs have tickets for the August SuperGT Special at Suzuka now? If so then maybe this weekend I can see if they have some and then start planning my trip. Doesn't Suzuka have a hotel on location?

Yes. A common ticket of Autobacs can be bought at any time.
The price of the Suzuka round is 5,500 yen. The hotel around Suzuka might be a full occupancy. This is famous hotel reservation website. http://travel.rakuten.co.jp/en/index.html |

Sports-carracing.net reported interesting news.
Judd offers ITR the supply of 3.4l V8 engine for DTM. In addition, Judd offers JRP the engine offer to Formula Nippon. The price is 4.5 million yen including ECU. This is a very attractive offer. Judd seems to plan the engine supply similarly for S-GT. However, Formula Nippon is a series that depends on money of Toyota and Honda. Toyota, Honda, and Nissan just developed an original engine. Therefore, achievement might be difficult. In DTM, Mercedes seems to be refusing this proposal. http://www.sports-carracing.net/2010...ialedition.htm |

So a spec Judd engine for SuperGT, Formula Nippon and DTM? Of course Judd would like to see that but I am sure Mercedes, Audi, Toyota and the others (including me) don't want that.

A good rethinking would be to allow Judd to build engines for privateers if they can't afford to run the same cars as the factory; maybe as a cheaper alternative to the factory engines, use chassis from factory teams and fit them with this engine if this is what your funding allows.

Maybe some independents might want it? Never going to get the factory backed teams to budge though.
**edit** ^ lol, yeah that. Didn't see your post, sorry. |

The Judd in the Mosler is going to have to do a lot better for anybody to be interested in the engine for this series. It is basically the same engine as used in LMP cars so has a pedigree but the Mosler installation has not worked so far it seems, better at Sepang but overheated.

Maybe its the car its installed into? I've never heard of a Mosler running anything but a Chevrolet V8 so maybe this lack of experience with the Judd in this car is the problem?

As I said, the installation is not working with what is otherwise an excellent engine, proven in LMP cars so installation in a variety of cars will require carefull engineering. You are right, the car normally runs a Chevrolet engine but my info is that they were unable to supply
