IMSA press release says JDC and Proton are full season, but that might just be approved for the full season and not confirmed. Wording isn't great.

In European terms, it was like the WEC, Michelin Le Mans Cup and British GT Championship decided to all host a round than into the dark at Oulton Park. Simultaneously.

It wasn't boring, but nor was it an endurance race. It was a short sprint races between cautions, which reset every time.

Could do with reducing the size of the field down by ten cars. No P3 will help next year.

Not only not downsizing but dropping a class but IMSA is actively trying to get the Road Atlanta pit lane to accommodate 57 so they can run 57 NAEC cars as that's the limit at The Glen as well

I must admit I was quite disappointed with the amount of crashes, accidents, etc. this year but MSR's farewell win is a good story, like Mazda in 2021

As much as I still believe they should have had their Daytona win revoked, the points penalty has cost them the overall title; the #60 has had a small, but certain margin over the other GTPs pretty much all season. The pit crew in particular have been top-notch.

Hopefully they return to IMSA sooner rather than later ... with fully accurate tyre sensors and unaltered recording software.

When a team is that even dominant after one instance blatant irreverence for the rules and competitors, it makes you wonder what they haven't been caught doing.

This wasn't a worn plank or a leak in an air box. It was an intentional disregard for rules that everyone else was following.

I personally didn't find myself celebrating their hard fought year at the conclusion of Saturday. Call me a hater, call yourself a cheater.

I was disappointed the #01 didn’t win. From the off it seemed to have the pace, although that doesn’t matter until the final hour.

This photo makes it look lighter than it was.

It was quiet and then over the ridge from T10 all you could hear was a V8 decide it didn't need those tires any further and all I could think was well Pipo must be doing a burnout
