21 starters at Rd2
26 starters at Rd3 21 starters at Rd5 All above your magic number of 20 It was never common to have less than 20 cars on the grid in the 80s, in fact it rarely happened! The only tracks to suffer lower numbers more years than not (than your magic number of 20) were Symmons and Wanneroo, for obvious reasons. (and ironically in 1989 they got over 20 at both of those tracks, the smallest grid of starters in the 1989 ATCC was 21, above your magic number) Last edited by one five five; 30 Apr 2018 at 11:28. |

here is my comment that you are arguing with "compared to group A and C the fields are bigger now"
and while there are some years (89,90 and 77) and some races that were bigger. the fields are bigger now where we average at least 26 cars per event and have done for 20 years (except for one year where it was 25) |

Seamer: Mustang helps international-race talks
I can see the logic of this, will be intersting to see if it converts to actuality I also read somewhere (but cant find where) that Kelly reckons they could have a GTR in play for next year. |

There was story on Kelly's saying GTR for 2019 possible on Supercars site this morning but now has disappeared. Nissan asked it to be removed?

2019: Mustang vs Camaro vs GT-R?
https://www.speedcafe.com/2018/05/05...maro-supercar/ Interesting to see the Camaro being raised when the ZB is only 4 races old. |

Holden won't stop the Camaro, but will they pay for it?

I'm sure WAU would prefer to not be running a 888-developed ZB Commodore. They really don't get on so well, lol. |

How much does that cost? Ford are apparently investing 2 million into the Mustang development. Are they going over and above, or is that about what a new body costs to design and test? Sent from my SM-G900I using Tapatalk |
